Triona McGearty

Triona is a fully qualified psychotherapist who holds a MSc in psychotherapy and counselling from the University of Northampton. She is also an associate member of the Irish Association for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP).
Triona's approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning that she views each client as a unique individual and tailors her approach accordingly.

Triona believes that the therapy room is a safe space for individuals to explore and work on any issues they may be experiencing. Her humanistic approach places great importance on the therapeutic relationship, which she considers integral to building trust and fostering open communication. 

Triona has experience working with various mental health conditions, including Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Self-harm, Suicidal thoughts, Substance abuse, Unresolved Trauma, and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Her expertise in these areas allows her to provide tailored and compassionate support to her clients. Triona is happy to work with individuals over 16.
