We work closely with GPs and Health Professionals to ensure all of our clients are treated in a professional, supportive and ethical manner.

Consultation

GPs and Health Professionals are welcome to contact the centre prior to referring a patient. This allows us to discuss the particulars and work together to find the most suitable course of action for the patient. With the patient’s agreement, we will schedule an appointment with the appropriate therapist. The GP or Health Professional will be notified in writing.

Once therapy has commenced, in may be necessary and supportive to maintain collaborative communication with the GP or Health Professional. The extent and nature of this communication can be discussed between the therapist, the patient and the GP or Health Professional.

Referrals

GPs or Health Professionals can call us in confidence to discuss the nature of the referral and decide on the best course of action.
